Biography

Mary Lee Hardee Riddle, a native of Pitt County, lived all her life in Greenville.

She was a graduate of Greenville High School and completed schooling to become a beautician. She worked as a beautician in Snow Hill and Greenville for a number of years. She was a member of The Memorial Baptist Church since 1945, where she worked in the church office. She was active in PTA, G.A.'s, and scouting during her children's growing years and at the age of 65 she learned how to paint and spent many enjoyable hours painting scenes that she loved.
