Hezekiah Hardesty fought as a volunteer militia man in the American Revolutionary War. He served with the Seventh Battalion, Fourth Company, York County, Pennsylvania militia. He served in various battles from March of 1778 to May of 1782 in the state of Pennsylvania.
Hezekiah Hardesty went west after the Revolutionary War. His grave can be found in Wabash County, Illinois.[1]
