Joseph Harding was born on 21 Feb 1724 in Chatham, Barnstable, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of Maziah Harding (1693–1760) and Bethiah Hawes (abt. 1701–aft. 1763).^[1] Joseph, ye son of Meziah & Bethiah Harding, was born 21st day of February 1725.^[2]

Joseph died about 1775 in Chatham, Massachusetts Bay Colony, aged about 50.^[4]
