Biography

Thomas Harding was born on 25 August 1784 in Gorham, Maine. His parents were David Harding and Temperance (Davis) Harding[1].

He married Mary Ann McLellan on 18 January 1810 in Gorham[2]. They had four children[3]:

1. Thomas P., born 22 Feb 1811; married Alice Frink
2. William M., born 8 Dec 1812; married Esther Hamblen
3. Albert S., born 4 Oct 1814; married Martina Lowe
4. Mary Ann, born 28 Mar 1817; married Charles Morris

Mary Ann passed away in 1818, and Thomas married her sister Jane on 30 August 1818 in Gorham[4]. They had two children:

1. Jane, born 3 Jul 1819; married Clark Chick
2. Sewall, born 10 Jun 1822; died young

Thomas passed away on 6 July 1822 in Gorham[5].
