Biography

Jerome Hardman was born on February 20, 1852 at Hardman Bend, Gilmer County, Virginia (later Calhoun County, West Virginia), to George W. and Rachel (Goff) Hardman. He married Amy Silcott Stump, the daughter of Alfred and Lucetta (Robinson) Stump, on May 8, 1884 in Calhoun County, West Virginia. He and Amy raised their children there. He died on November 20, 1931 and was buried in the Hardman Cemetery at Hardman Bend, Calhoun County, West Virginia.
