Biography
Rachael was born in 1858, daughter of Benjamin Harman and Elizabeth McMain. Rachael and six of her oldest siblings were baptized the same day, at the same church as her Uncle John and his bride were married. In the census years that followed she and siblings, Mary, John and Charles are found in John and Sarah's household rather than that of Benjamin and Elizabeth. This has caused some confusion among researchers as to which couple were the actual parents.
