Mary had two baseborn children. Maria Harmer born 1845-1872 (she took the Leeves surname when her mother married Joseph Leeves). The second child was Aaron Harmer born 1848 and baptised in 1849. He died in 1932. Aaron also took his stepfather's surname. This person married Mary Ann Caroline Dinnage and was a gamekeeper. This child is continually being muddled with Aaron Leeves (1850-1916), son of Edward Leeves and Ann Weston.
