Appointed overseer of a crew for maintenance of the Dresden-Hickman Road from near Allen Oliver's farm to Reelfoot bridge.
Military: 1863 Tennessee.[4]
Served as a private, Co. E, 4th (Neely's) Tennessee Infantry (CSA).
Married: 1st Sarah Jane Harpole, 4 Feb 1868 Gibson County, Tennessee.[5]
