Ruth was born ca. 1725 to Samuel Harris Jr and Dinah Willcoxson ^[1]. She married Simeon Cady in 1745 ^[2]. Simeon Cady, ), b. Canterbury, Conn., Nov. n, 1721; m. Feb. 26, 1745, Ruth Harris. He d. Canterbury, Jan. 4, 1754 ; she d. May 25, 1752.

i. Simon Cady (als. spelled Simeon), b. Jan. 24, 1746 ^[3]. Served in Revolutionary war.

ii. Elizabeth Cady, b. March 22, 1747 ^[4].

iii. Ruth Cady, b. July 5, 1749 ^[5].

iv. Rosamond Cady, b. July 9, 1751 ^[6].
