Biography
Elizabeth “Betsy” Harris was born on 17 Feb 1825 in North Carolina, the daughter of Benjamin Harris and Mary (Walker) Harris. The Harris family moved to Illinois.
Elizabeth married Henry Bost on 5 Feb 1846 in Montgomery, Illinois. [1]They are listed in the 1850 Fayette County, Illinois Census with one child, Mary L Bost, age 1, born in Illinois. [2]
Children of Henry and Elizabeth include;

- Victor Alexander Bost 1853–1940
- Jeremiah L Bost 1855–1908
- Elias B. Bost Feb 1857–1904
Elizabeth died on 12 Sep 1857 in Montgomery County, Illinois. Henry then married the widow of Elizabeth’s brother.
