Maria Harris was born in Quyon about 1870 to Robert and Margaret Harris. She married Horace E. Chamberlin. She passed away in Ottawa in 1928 age 58.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. W. E. Rivington, Ottawa, and the Misses Margaret and Grace Chamberlin, of Cumberland; four sons, Byrnes Chamberlin and Jared Chamberlin, both of Ottawa, and Cecil and Percy Chamberlin, both of Cumberland; two sisters, Mrs. David McCord. of Ottawa, and Miss Sophia Harris in the United States; and three brothers, James Harris, of Vancouver, B.C.: William Harris in California, and Henderson Harris, of Shawville. The funeral arrangements have not been made.[1]
