Private Frederick Harris was a prisoner of war during World War II.
Frederick Samuel Harris enlisted on 25 April 1940 and served with the Australian Army, 2nd 17th InFantry Battalion, during World War II. On 09 April 1941 he was missing in action in Greece. On 09 September 1941 he was interred in Stalag Germany. On 28 May 1945 he was recovered as a Prisoner of War and arrived in the United Kingdom. He returned to Australia 08 August 1945 and was discharged from duty on 08 September 1945. [2][3]
