Eliza Harrison is a part of US Black heritage.
Eliza Harrison was born about 1846 to Nelson Harrison and Catherine Johnson. She was a slave and lived in Marengo Co, AL at Faunsdale Plantation owned by Thomas Alexander Harrison.
Plantation Lists
On the 1857 Faunsdale plantation list Eliza is listed at age 11. She is listed with Nelson age 48, Catherine age 41, Manuel age 16, Molly age 13, Aggy age 9, Miranda age 7, Jerry age 3, and Sam (Infant).[1]
On the 1864 plantation families list Eliza is listed as age 18, born in 1846. She is listed with Nelson age 55, Catherine age 48, Aggie age 16, born in 1848, Merinda age 14 born in 1850, Jerry age 10, born June 1854, Sam Barron age 6, born Mar 1858[2]
In 1864 Eliza is listed as age 18 on the Confederate Tax list.[3]
