Biography

Arthur was born on 15 January 1905 in Sidford, Devon. He was the son of Francis George Hart and Jessie Hart (nee Pring). On his birth registration it states that his father was a journeyman carpenter. ^[1]

In the 1911 census Arthur (age 6) was living in Sidmouth, Devon, England. Relation to Head: Visitor.^[2]

When Arthur was 23 he married Winnie Marles in April 1928 in Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom. The couple had one child: Kenneth J Hart.^[3]

In the 1939 register Arthur (age 34) was living in Devon, England. Marital Status: Married.^[4]

Arthur died at the age of 92 between March and June 1997 in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England.^[5]
