The Haskell Family Association has accepted the first four generations of this family as:^[1]

1. William Hascall ( - bef.1514);
2. William Hascall (bef.1514- ) m.c.1539 Joan Foyle;
3. William Hascall Jr. (c.1540-1575) m.c.1564 Elizabeth Rake;
4. William Haskell 1575-1630 m.1611 Elinor Foule, parents of 3 brothers who established the Haskell family in America: Roger (1613-1667); Mark (1621-1667); William (1618-1693).
