The Haskell Family Association has accepted the first four generations of this family as:[1]
William Hascall ( - bef.1514);
William Hascall (bef.1514- ) m.c.1539 Joan Foyle;
William Hascall Jr. (c.1540-1575) m.c.1564 Elizabeth Rake;
William Haskell 1575-1630 m.1611 Elinor Foule, parents of 3 brothers who established the Haskell family in America: Roger (1613-1667); Mark (1621-1667); William (1618-1693).
The logic to support this family tree is outlined in The Haskell Family Anthology, Volume 1. Editor W.A. Haskell, Printed in Great Britain in 2003 by Digaprint Limited. Article 4, Haskells in Early Records, Page 30.
William possibly died before 1572 in Fontmell Magna, Dorset.[2]
