Hi Diane

I've been sourcing your Dale / Norton family as part of the Source a Thon. I hope you agree with my rearrangement of Allen Dale's wives!

Best Wishes

Dianne, I'm still looking for documentation to for the birthdate of Daniel Henry Hatfield. Any help in where I might look will be appreciated. I've tried all known sources (census, birth records for New Jersey, etc) and have come up with no results. The date currently listed on his profile has been posted on several trees on ancestry and family search. I've added it to his page in the hopes that someone can add a source.

I don't know if I've answered this before, I was just digging around in Wiki-tree today, because , again,,, 6 degrees outside... anyway, Daniel H. Hatfield has been my brick wall for years. I have no documentation for him. I have looked at all the Hatfield lists I can find from New Jersey, everyone else in the family shows up, but not him. I know that Hatfield line goes back to New Haven , CT. where another line of my family comes from, Benhams.

Hello Dianne I work the unsourced Ky list thru Data Doctors and when I do one profile I usually check family members to see if anyone else needs sources and I will add sources not already on the profile like FAG or marriage sorry I don't have anything else to help or add. Thank you Rosetta

Hi, I am Dorothy, a WikiTree mentor!! Are you enjoying your time on WikiTree so far?

Now that you have had a little time to try our site, there are a few more features you may find useful:

For instance, ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards; including some tips on writing biographies

Also a friendly reminder about adding sources and references to your profile. Sources are critically important for genealogy and you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from. This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Hi Dianne,

A warm welcome to WikiTree, a genealogy site different than any other! You should have received an email from us with helpful links to get started.

Our goal is to have one single profile per person so that we have ONE big family tree and we collaborate together to make that happen.

Each volunteer at WikiTree adds to the collaborative tree at their own pace, there are no minimum requirements for time or entry.

When you volunteer, you indicate your interests by adding tags and comments and then one of our Greeters will confirm your membership.

Please check out our question of the week: What do you think it is, that keeps you hooked into this hobby / obsession?

Welcome to the family!
