She was baptised January 10, 1841 in Lanteglos by Camelford, Cornwall, England. She was the daughter of George Hatherly and Eliza Colwill. On her baptism record, her father's occupation is given as "shoemaker"[2]
Mary Ann age 1 was with her parents and siblings in St Mary Magdalene, Launceston, Cornwall.[3]
Research Notes
Although a death record has so far not been found -- it's believed that she died young since she was not with her parents and siblings in the 1851 Census for Darlington Township, Durham county, Ontario.
