In the 1891 census Sarah (age 4) was the daughter of John Hattrick on Rose Street, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.

In the 1901 census Maud (age 15) was the single daughter of John J Hattrick in Whitby, Cheshire, England.

Sarah (single, age 23, daughter of John James Hattrick) married Ernest Couldrey (single, age 24, son of Frank Kershaw Couldrey) on 26 February 1911 in St Mary, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.
