On 27 Mar 1942 she married Oren Wilford Falls Sr in Pearisburg, Giles County, Virginia.^[5] They had two children: Oren Wilford Falls Jr. and William Austin Falls.

She passed away on 17 Dec 2010, probably in South Carolina, and was buried in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina. ^{[4] [6]}

Obituary

Funeral services for Pearl H. Falls, 86, will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 3608 Landmark Drive #C, Columbia, SC 29204.

Mrs. Falls was born August 11, 1924 in West Virginia and passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Abraham and Doretha McGlothan Hawks. She was a member of Long Creek Church of Christ.

Mrs. Falls is survived by her sons, Oren W. Falls, Jr. of Lexington and William A. Falls of Gilbert; sister, Marie Broyles of Ballard, WV; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Oren W. Falls, Sr.

Research Notes

The 1930 Census shows her birth location as "North Carolina. However, the 1940 Census, 1950 Census, and her obituary all state she was born in West Virginia.
