Francis Heydon/Hayden (1628-1694), son of Edward Heydon, Esq. and Eleanor Whitehead, was born in 1628 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. He was baptized on August 14, 1628, at the Watford Parish Church (also known as St. Mary's), Watford, Hertfordshire, England. Francis immigrated to Westmoreland County, Virginia in the 1660's. Prior to 1675, he migrated from Virginia to St. Mary's Co., Maryland, along with his wife, Thomasin Butler, and their two daughters. The last of their 3 children, William Hayden, Sr. (1675-1733), was born in St. Mary's County, Maryland. Both William Hayden, Sr. (1675-1733) and his son, George Hayden (1718-1754), raised large families in St. Mary's Co. George's sons, Basil Hayden, Sr. (1744-1804) and William Hayden (1738-1794), however, were in the first group of Catholics that migrated from St. Mary's Co. to Nelson Co., Kentucky in 1785. Basil was the
organizer and leader of the group.

The source regarding his birthplace is a 404. Any updates?
I have a passed-down handwritten family tree that says "Born in England came over with the Maryland colony" and wanted to see definitive proof of MD vs England birthplace.
Hi! I'm a MatchBot MP. It appears these profiles Haydon-141 and Hayden-658 are a match. They each have the same birth year, siblings, parents, death date and location. These can be merged
