Biography
Sophia was born in Ontario County, NY, c 1807. In the 1810 US census for Ontario County, NY, a household of four "free persons of color" is headed by Geo. Hayes. He may be a relative.
In the early 1830s, she married Oliver Wright, probably in Rochesterville (later Rochester) NY. They had (at least) 8 sons and a daughter.
