Martha was born in 1919. Martha Belle Hayes was the daughter of Charles Ruford Hayes (1881 - 1943) and Sadie Belle James Hayes (1895 - ____). She passed away in 1993, and was buried at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.[1]

Mrs. Miller was born in Monroe, MO, daughter of the late Charles Hayes and Sadie Belle James Hayes. She had been a resident of Alachua since May 1991, having moved from Rome. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd M. Miller, Sept. 12, 1973.
Survivors include: three daughters, Joyce Lindsey, Acworth, Mary Ely, Rome, and Pat Steger, Alachua; three brothers, Charles Hayes, Marietta, Miller Hayes, Mexico, MO, and Wray Hayes, Ft. Smith, AR; two sisters, Grace Webster, MO, and Florence Duke, Springer, TX; seven grandchildren.[2]
