Biography

Mary Haynes was born on August 18, 1729 in Brimfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay Colony, daughter of Peter Haynes (1685–1779) and Love Sherman (~1702–1759) [1].

Mary (27) married Jonas Haynes (26) (born on October 24, 1730 in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay; son of Daniel Haynes and Lydia (Russell) Haynes) on February 8, 1757 in Brimfield [2].

Their children were:

  1. Samuel Haynes (1757–1824)
  2. Daniel Haynes (1759–1846)
  3. Lydia Haynes (1764–1815)
  4. Mary Haynes (1766–1807)
  5. Abigail Haynes (1768–1815)
  6. Jonathan Haynes (1770–1854)

Mary died on April 20, 1815 in Brimfield, Hampden, Massachusetts, United States, aged 85 [3]. She was buried in Brimfield Cemetery, Brimfield, Massachusetts [4].
