HAYNES—On April 16, at Kadina, Trevor Edward, beloved son of Ray and Gertie Haynes, and brother of Barry, of Whyalla, aged two years and nine months. A very patient sufferer peacefully resting.[2]
Sorrow. I feel sure readers will join in a note of deep sympathy for Ray Haynes and his wife, in the death of their young son. It was only the other day that I was talking to Ray at the station, and the boy was with them. But, in the course of a few days, the young child had passed away, and was laid to rest at Kadina. Ray is well known to readers, being a son of the late Tom Haynes, and, for a while, was on the West Coast as a Home Missionary, But, of late he has been at Whyalla, where they carry on as builders. So, in this brief reference I assure the parents that we remember them in our sympathy and prayers.[3]
