Martha Haynie was born in 1667 in Bayview, Northumberland, Virginia, daughter of Captain John Haynie II (~1624 - ~1697) and Jane (Morris) Haynie (~1630 - ~1725). [1]

Martha Haynie is named as unmarried in her father's 1697 will, yet she is married to Thomas Harding who died in 1689?

I see that a Thomas Harding received a land patent for 740 A in Northumberland Co, also 100 A in same. Then later 525 A in same. This is not Henrico. Source is: Cavaliers & Pioneers, Nugent, vol 1 pp 256, 415; vol 2 p 101.
