According to U.S. and Canada, Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, Andrew arrived in 1740 to August Co., Virginia.

Died Y. 1 MAR 1786. Rockbridge, Virginia, USA. Age: 69-70.

Andrew Hays, Executor for Gilbert Campbell: At a court held for Augusta County the 26th day of February 1750 – Andrew Hays, Charles Hays and James Walker in open court acknowledged this their bond for the said Andrew’s true and faithful administration of the estate of Gilbert Campbell deceased which bond is ordered to be recorded. [1]

I Andrew Hays of Rockbridge County
Item, I will and bequeath unto my oldest son John Hays the plantation I now live on containing 400 acres with all Buildings, Mills, Orchards ...provided he the said John Hays pays the sum of £100 unto my son James Hays and likewise the sum of £100 unto my son Charles Hays and I likewise I bequeath unto my son John a negro Boy named Will
Item, I will and bequeath to my Son James Hays the plantation he now lives on containing 250 acres with all Buildings, Orchards& him his Heirs and Assigns forever and I appoint my son John to make him a sufficient Right and Assigns for the same, I likewise bequeath unto my son James a Negro Boy named Cato
Item, I will and bequeath to my son Charles Hays the plantation the plantation he now lives on with all the Buildings, Orchards ...I likewise will and bequeath unto my son Charles a Negro Boy named Cabe
