Alberta was Choctaw.

Alberta was born 1 Mar 1883 at Purcell, Pontotoc, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, the daughter of Jonathan Hazel and Evaleen Irwin. Alberta passed away 23 Jan 1968 at Riverside, California. She is buried at the Fairhaven Memorial Park, Santa Ana, Orange County, California.[2]
