Biography

When Robert Loyd Heape was born in 1802 in Harford, Maryland, his father, Robert, was 49 and his mother, Martha, was 55. He had four sons and two daughters with Sarah R Stokes between 1827 and 1841. He died on February 22, 1888, in Maryland having lived a long life of 86 years, and was buried in Whiteford, Maryland.

• Fact: http://familysearch.org/v1/LifeSketch Mr. Lloyd Heaps, who lived near Mill Green, died on Feb. 220 and was buried last Saturday at Mount Vernon M. E. Church. Rev. J.D. Smith conducted the services. The pall-bearers were William Cox, Patrick Hushon, Kennedy Bay, John Wallis, Hugh Bay and James H. Day. Mr. Heaps was in his 86th year. He was a good citizen and was very much respected by all who knew him.
