Biography
Daniel was born May 15, 1913, in Parkerville, Morris County, Kansas, the son of Phil and Ellen teare Heigele. In 1920, the family lived in Parker Township, Morris County, Kansas.[1] In 1930, they lived in Elm Creek Township, Morris County, Kansas.[2]
Daniel married Lamonte [Patterson] Coffin June 19, 1938.[3] They had three children.[4] In 1940, they were living in Clinton, Henry County, Missouri, where Daniel was a blocksman.[5] Daniel graduated from Kansas State University with an engineering degree.
Daniel served as a Commander in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He later worked as manager of construction at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline.
Daniel passed away Aug. 22, 1995, in Independence, Jackson County, Missouri.[6] He is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri.[7]
