Biography

Pauline Heinz married Louis Schidlo (age 25) on 10 May 1887 in Manhattan, New York. At some point in the 1890's Louis separated from his family and left for Wisconsin.

US State & Federal Census

1870 - Pauline "Hinze" (age 6) was enumerated with her family in Hoboken, Hudson, New Jersey. The family included her parents Charles (36) and Dora (34) and her siblings Willie (4), Charlie (2), and Doretta (7 months).

1880 - Pauline Heinz (age 16) was enumerated in her father's household on 1st Ave., New York, New York.

1900 - Pauline Schidlo (36) was enumerated in her mother's household at 219 North 8 Street, Mt Vernon, Westchester, New York. Paulina was widowed. She said she had given birth to 2 children both still living. The household included her mother Dora Heinz (66) and two sons, Louis (12) and Waldemar (9). They were renting and they appear to be in the same building as her sister Dora's family.
