Thomas Henchman, born c. 1599 at Rushton, Northamptonshire, England, was a son of Thomas Henchman and Anne Griffith. Apparently the source of this information is Ancestry Trees and an Ancestral File (user-generated data bases). Proof is needed.^{[citation needed]}

Thomas is said to have married in 1618 at Rushton, Northampton to Mary Haines, to have immigrated to Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and to have died there. The source of this information is again, a user-generated data base. Evidence is needed.^{[citation needed]}

Note: A Captain, and then Major, Thomas Hinchman made many land transactions at Chelmsford, Massachusetts in the 1670's and 1680's.^[1][2] Whether these were made by a relative of the profiled is unclear, since his immigration and death place are uncertain.
