Biography
William Alfred Leslie Harrison Henderson was born on 11th May 1892 in Wangaratta, Victoria (Australia). He was the son of William Henderson and Mary Harrison. [1]
He studied medicine and became a medical doctor.
William married Winifred Jenkin in 1918 in Drummoyne, New South Wales. [2]
William Henderson is a Military Veteran.

On 15th August 1942, with the (Second World) War in nearby Papua at its peak, William was commissioned in the Australian Army. He was discharged on 27th February 1944 [3] having served as a medical doctor with the 4th Field Ambulance. [4]
Aged about 60 years, he passed away in 1952 in Parramatta, New South Wales. [5]
