Biography
Bridget came to Western Australia on the Escort, arriving on 20 December 1860.[1]
She married Timothy Buckley on 26 November 1861 at Newcastle (now Toodyay).[1]
.......Bridget Buckley, the complainant, is thin and toothless, with pointed chin, and iron-grey locks. .......[2]
On Friday, Mrs. Bridget Buckley, widow of the late Timothy Buckley, died at her residence, Duke-street, after a protracted illness, aged 82 years. The deceased was a very old colonist and, with her husband, was one of the pioneers of the Wongamine district where she resided for nearly half a century. The funeral will take place this morning, leaving the deceased lady's residence for St. Joseph's Church and thence to the Roman Catholic portion of the Northam Cemetery.[3]
