Sara was born about 1860. She is the daughter of Harriet Fagin.
In the 1870 census Sara (age 10) was in Crab Apple Creek Settlements, Gillespie, Texas. She was living with her stepfather Crocket Braziel, stepmother Harriet, and siblings.[1]
