Biography of Rebecca J Henry Hart
Rebecca J Henry was born on 17 Dec 1858 in Barnett, Forest, Pennsylvania, USA. [1] Her parents were William Henry and Mary Jane Cook. [2]
In 1879 Rebecca married James B. Hart. [3] They had one child, who I believe they adopted. His name was Forrest Vance Hart born 8 April 1891. [4]
In the 1900 Census, she reports that she has had 0 children, even though she had a son, Forrest. Again, I believe this is evidence that Forrest was adopted. [5]
In the 1910 Census, her name is listed as Reba, perhaps a nickname. Also again she reports that she has had no children. Forrest is still at home and is 19 years old. He is listed as their adopted son. [6]
On 22 Nov 1918 Rebecca passed away from ovarian cancer. She was 59 years old. She is buried in Grandview Cemetery in Export, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. [7]
