Biography
Norman was baptised on 26 Mar 1882 at Christ Church, Delgany, Co. Wicklow, the son of James Hepenstall, blacksmith, and his wife Frances.[1]
During the third quarter of 1906 he married Frances Hughes.[2] They emigrated to South Africa, where the first of their two sons, Alan, was born in 1908. They had a second son, Francis Norman, born in Belfast in 1910.
