Eugenie was born in 1872. She was the daughter of Peter Hepler and Mary Seymour. She passed away in 1920.

Seymour (37, b. MA, clerk in store, single, both parents b. MA), daughter Nettie J. Seymour (23, b. IA, at home, single, both parents b. MA), and Herbert S. Seymour (18, b. MO, father b. MA, mother b. OH), daughter Mary E. Hepler (33, b. MA, works in sash factory, both parents b. MA) and granddaughter Eugenie L. Hepler (8, b. MO, father b. OH, mother b. MA).
In 1900 a Mary S. Hepler (b. Dec 1847 in MA, widowed, married 28 years, 1 child [still living], both parents b. MA) headed a Keokuk (Lee County) household with daughter Eugenie L. Hepler (b. Jan 1875 in MO, teacher, single, father b. OH, mother b. MA), sister Lucy L. Seymour (b. Aug 1843 in MA, saleslady, single, both parents b. MA), and sister Jaenette Seymour (b. Mar 1865 in IA, none, single, both parents b. MA).
An obit headline noted that she was prominent in work in normal and industrial schools through the South. An article noted that she taught "colored boys and girls" at a normal and industrial college in Morristown, TN.[1]
A Eugenie Louise Hepler died 4 Nov 1920 in Keokuk, IA (Lee County). Born 16 Jan 1872 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Peter L. Hepler (b. OH) and Mary C. Seymour (b. MA). Eugenie was a single school teacher at the time of her death. She was buried in Oakland (Cemetery) 6 Nov 1920. Lucy Seymour of Keokuk was the informant.[2]
