Marriage

Freelove Herendeen married John Salisbury on 10 December 1777 in Smithfield, Providence County, Rhode Island.

Her husband, John Salisbury had a Revolutionary War pension in which he gave his birthdate, birthplace, 1803 as the year he went to Canandaigua, New York (he had lived there ever since that time), that he was 76 years old on the 20th of August 1833, and Hezekiah Herendeen, Jr, who was serving as deponent, witnessed that John Salisbury married Hezekiah Herendeen, Jr's sister, Freelove Herendeen as his first wife (Freelove Herendeen's father and brother were named Hezekiah).^[3]
