Caroline D Herter was born on August 14, 1886 in Illinois, United States.

Caroline (20) married Charles Rochelle Dixon (24) (born on January 10, 1883 in Calhoun; son of [father] and [mother]) on June 15, 1907 in Calhoun.

In 1910, Caroline (23) was living in household of Charles R Dixon (27) in Point Precinct, Calhoun with her husband, Charles R (27); their son, Charles R (2); and James W Creswell (46). ^[1]

In 1920, Caroline (33) was living in household of Grant Gresham (30) in Gilead Precinct, Calhoun with her husband, Grant (30); their children, Grant H (4 years 8 months), and Irene (2 years 5 months); and Carl Dixon (11), and Leon Dixon (9). ^[2]

Caroline died on December 24, 1973 in Hardin, Calhoun, aged 87. She was buried in Hardin Cemetery, Hardin, Calhoun County, Illinois.^[3]
