Biography

Christina Hertzog was born about 1812 in the German Empire.[1]

She married Carl Dietsch. Together they had at least the following children:[2]

  1. Edward Dietsch (~1836 - 03 Feb 1899)
  2. Charles Henry Dietsch (01 Mar 1844 - 05 Apr 1914)
  3. Anthony Dietsch (12 Feb 1849 - 29 Dec 1928)
  4. Euphemia (Dietsch) (Watt) Hennessy (1852 - 1905)
  5. Charles Dietsch (~1855 - bef. 1870)

They immigrated to the United States before about 1853, when their daughter Euphremia was born. At the time of the 1860 Census they were living in Findlay, Hancock County, Ohio, where her husband worked as a cabinet maker.[2] He continued to live and work in Findlay for the remainder of his life, with his sons joining him in the cabinet making business.[3][4]

Her husband passed away on 04 Feb 1883. He was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, Hancock County, Ohio.[5]

She passed away on 22 Jan 1891 due to typhoid.[6] She was buried beside her husband, Carl, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, Hancock County, Ohio.[7]
