Derek Hewett's book on William Hewet 1496-1566/7 Lord Mayor of London (well documented in Wikitree) and the will of this (1522-1599) William Hewett ( see https://howetfamily.wordpress.com/wills/1599-sir-william-hewitt-of-killamarsh/ for a transcription) are well researched and documented sources that do not agree with this. Dorothy Hewett (according to Derek Hewet) was the daughter of Robert Hewet of Ampthill Beds, son of Thomas Hewett of Shenley.
