Biography
Alanson Hewitt was born on May 31, 1807 in Oswego County, New York.
Married Lucy Pratt Pelton on Nov. 29, 1832 in Middlefield, Hampshire Co., Massachusetts.[1]
Father of Hobart Hewitt, Jocepha Hewitt, Eliza Hewitt, Byron Hewitt, Ezra Hewitt, and Samuel Hewitt.
Alanson passed away on Mar. 16, 1857 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie du Chien, Crawford Co., Wisconsin.[2]
