Biography
Ernest Hickman was born in about 1875 at Witney in Oxfordshire, the son of Richard Hickman and his wife Ann, born Ann Gould [1].
In 1881, Ernest was living at Lowells Yard in Witney with his parents Richard and Ann and their other children. His age was given as 6, implying a birth date in 1874 or 1875. His birthplace was given as Witney, Oxfordshire. He was at school [2].
