Biography

William was born about 1828. He was christened on 19 April 1829 in the parish of Willian, Hertford, England ^[1] In the 1851 Census he was living with his parents John and Jane, and siblings Elizabeth (6), Henry(20), Thomas (13), Fredrick (10), and James (6). All were born in Willian except John who was born in the parish of Baldock. ^[2] He passed away about 1919 in Ohoka, Canterbury, New Zealand.
