Biography

Abraham Heiston was born about 1792. He was the son of Peter Hieston and Barbara Huffman.[1]

On 29 Aug 1815 in Shenandoah County, Virginia,[2] Abraham Hiestant [sic] and Daniel Musselman made a marriage bond of $150 for the intended marriage between Abraham Hiestant and Daniel's sister, Frances Musselman. Daniel gave testimony that both Abraham and Frances were at or above 21 years of age. It is assumed that the marriage took place on, or shortly after that date.

In 1820,[3] Abraham Heaston [sic] was living in the Speedwell Forge District, Shenandoah County, Virginia as head of household, which included (age range) [possible names]: a) males - 2 (<10) [Daniel Heiston &  ??], 1 (26 - 44) [Abraham Heaston]; females - 3 (< 10) [Ann & Mary Heiston], 3 (10 - 15), 1 (26 - 44) [Frances Heaston].

On 31 Oct 1826 in Shenandoah County, Virginia,[4] Abraham Heastant [sic] and Ben Strickler made a marriage bond of $150 for the intended marriage between Abraham Heastant and Mary Strickler. Ben Strickler gave oath that Mary Strickler was over 21 years of age.

In 1830,[5] Abraham Heaston was living in the Western District of Shenandoah County, Virginia as head of household, which included (age range) [possible names]: a) males - 1 (5 - 9) [Joseph Heaston], 3 (10 - 14) [Daniel Heiston &  ??], 1 (30 - 39) [Abraham Heaston]; females - 2 (10 - 14) [Ann & Mary Heiston], 1 (30 - 39) [Mary (Strickler] Heaston].

Abraham Heiston died about 1846 in Page County, Virginia.[1]

Probate of Estate

On 28 Mar 1848,[1] Silvenus Strickler submitted to the Court an account of probate activities for the estate of Abraham Heastant [sic] (deceased), including distributions from the estate to the heirs of the deceased with statement of the relationship of a given heir to the deceased. The earliest record in the estate account is from Nov 1846; and hence Abraham Heiston died before this date (i.e., before Nov 1846). Hiestand-529 05:00, 13 July 2022 (UTC)

Heiston-1 and Hieston-3 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same birth years and similar death date, same 2 wives, same location

I also note that Ms. Shaffer is the Profile Manager for both of these profiles. They appear to be duplicates.
