Biography

Frederick was born in Bridge Hampton, Suffolk, New York, on November 7, 1865, the son of Egbert Howe Hildreth and Mariette Miller Hildreth.[1]

Frederick F. Hildreth died in 1944 and is buried at the East Hillside Cemetery, Glen Head, Nassau County, New York, USA.[2]

In 1870, Mathew Hildreth, a 72 year old farmer, lived .with his wife Hannah T., 69, and six others: Clara F Hildreth, 43; Egbert H. Hildreth, 32, works on the farm; Mary G. Heldreth, 30, a school teacher; Joseph Hildreth, 21, a farmer laborer; Sarah M Horton, 13, a domestic servant; and Fred F. Hildreth, 4. All were born in New York.[3]

In 1900, F. F. Hildreth, 35 b. New York November 1865, a "Asting Mash Mec RR, lived in a home he owned with his wife Fannie S., 34 b. Ohio April 1866, and two daughters b. Indianna: Gladys W., 4 b. December 1896; and Gertrude H., 2 b. October 1898. F.F.'s parents were both born in New York, while Fannie's were born in Ohio. They have been married for 4 years, and Fannie has had two children, both of whom are living.[4]

In 1910, Fred F. Hildreth, 44 b. New York, worked as a mechanical engineer for a railroad. He lived in a home he owned with his wife Fannie S., 43 b. Ohio, and three children b. Indiana: Gladys W.,13; Gertrude H., 11; and Egbert S., 6. Fred's father was born in New York and his mother in Vermont, while Fannie's parents were both born in Ohio. The couple has been married for 14 years, and Fannie has had 3 children.[5]
