Oscar (age 45) signed up for the World War I Draft on September 12, 1918. He is described as being medium height, medium build with black eyes and grey hair. Occupation listed as Farmer.[2]
Oscar died on June 5, 1955, in Hinsons Crossroads, Washington, Florida, United States, aged 82. He was buried at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hinsons Crossroads, Washington County, Florida.[3]
