Tryphena "Phena" Goodell, daughter of Jabez and Abigail Goodell, was born November 24, 1766 in Mansfield, Tolland, Connecicut. The name inscribed on her tombstone was "Tryphena". [1][2]She married first Heli Hitchcock in Vermont on Dec 2, 1784. [3][4] and they had six children. She was living in Vermont as a widow in 1820; he died in 1818. [5] After his death she married Elijah Ranney [6]. She died 27 March 1838 and was buried in Westminster West Cemetery next to her first husband Heil Hitchcock. Find A Grave: Memorial #71590177. [2]
