Biography

Martha Ellen (Nellie) Hitchens was born on September 17, 1880, in Wayne, Michigan. Her father was Henry Hitchens, and her mother was Mary (Lynch) Hitchens. Nellie married Peter John Boos on June 24, 1902, in Center Line, Michigan; they had seven children together. She died on January 7, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, at the age of 68.
