Biography

Samuel Hite was born in 1848, likely in Sullivan County, Tennessee, where he spent his youth. He was married to Martha F. Powell in 1872[1] and moved to Johnson County, Indiana soon thereafter.[2] He died in Seymour, Indiana in 1913.[3]
